Check that the thread has passed through the
eye of the needle, and then release the needle
threader lever while releasing the thread.
* If the needle is not threaded, check that the needle has been
raised to its highest position, and then repeat the procedure
starting with step

Pull the thread loop that formed behind the
needle towards the back of the sewing machine.

Pass the thread through the slit in the presser
foot, and then pull out about 15 cm of thread to
the back.
