4.3.1

Stapling mechanism

• The Stapling Unit performs the stapling action.
• When the Stapling Motor turns, the Clinch Arm lowers. Then the Stapler moves up to
drive a staple into paper and the staple is formed.
• Staple position is the rear corner (stapling) at a point.
