16.3.3 Fusing temperature control
• The surface temperatures of the Heating Roller and Pressure Roller are detected using
thermistors and the corresponding Heater Lamps are turned ON or OFF as necessary to
maintain the set fusing temperature.

A. Warm-up
• Four different types of warm-up control are employed for varying the set temperature of
each roller, thereby preventing fusing performance from being degraded due to environ-
mental changes.
• Priority is given to the high humidity control.
