Notes on the connection example
• Power to the Data Solution Box is supplied from the
System
• Connect a projector, etc. to the RGB OUT connector on the Data Solution
Box.
This connection enables you:
– To display the received computer picture with optimum picture quality.
– To display the image from the computer connected to the Data Solution
Box on the local site (when "DSB RGB Output" is set to "Single Monitor
PC" and the Data Solution Box is not used for sending or receiving the
data).
– To display the picture of the remote party on a large screen (when "DSB
RGB Output" is set to "Dual Monitor Video" and the Data Solution Box is
not used for sending or receiving the data).
• If you connect the RGB IN connector of the Video Communication System
to the RGB OUT connector of the Data Solution Box instead of the projector,
you can display the computer picture being transmitted on the display of the
Video Communication System.
For details, see "Displaying the Picture from the Computer via the Data
Solution Box" on page 209.
Notes on the connection of a microphone
• Up to five microphones can be connected with the Data Solution Box.
• When using external microphones, the sound transmitted to the remote party
may become unclear due to noises in a conferencing room. In this case speak
close to the microphone.
• When using multiple microphones, the Echo Canceler function cannot be
fully utilized depending on the type of conference room. In this case, try to
suppress any echo in the room or decrease the number of microphones.
• You cannot use the microphones connected to the Data Solution Box
together with the built-in microphone.
