4-13. REPLACEMENT OF SHIFT
MOTOR ASSEMBLY
The shift motor assembly can be replaced with the
cassette compartment attached.
Mode: Unthreading end
Removal
1. Remove the SV-164 board.
(Refer to Section 2-11-8.)
2. Pull out the harness from the CN514 connector
of the HN-227 board shown in the figure.
3. Pull out the harness from the CN514 connector
of the CC-86 board shown in the figure.
4. Remove the two screws and remove the shift
motor assembly.
Attachment
5. Adjust the new shift motor to the two protrusions
shown in the figure, and attach with the two
screws.
6. Attach the harness and SV-164 board in the
reverse order of steps 1 to 3.
