SEATS
Front Seat (Bench)
The entire driver's seat assembly can be moved forward or rearward
for the most comfortable position. Push rearward on the lever to release
the seat adjuster lock so the seat assembly can be moved forward or
rearward as desired. Forward Control model seat height adjustment
is made by means of two bolts attaching the seat base to the seat
support. Several holes provide for different heights.
After adjusting a manually operated seat, push forward and backward
on the seat to be sure the seat adjusters have latched. Take the vehicle
to your dealer for service if you find that your seat adjusters do not
latch.

Bucket Seats

The front seats may be adjusted forward or rearward by moving the
control lever at the front of the seat. Move the control lever to the left
to release the locking mechanism; then exert slight body pressure to
move seat to desired position. The seat is locked in position when the
lever is released.
After adjusting a manually operated seat, push forward and backward
on the seat to be sure the seat adjusters have latched. Take the vehicle
to your dealer for service if you find that your seat adjusters do not
latch.
NOTICE:
Do not adjust a manually operated driver's seat while the
vehicle is moving. The seat could move suddenly and unexpectedly and
could cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
Front Seatback Latch (Bench)
The front seatback, on some vehicles, is equipped with a self-latching
mechanism t o keep the seatback latch in place while in the "up"
position. The latch release lever is located on both sides at the lower
rear of the seatback.
To tilt the seatback forward, lift the latch release levers and tilt the
seatback forward. When the seatback is returned to the up position.
the seatback is designed to latch automatically.
Keep seat belt webbing and hardware clear of seat parts when you tilt
folding seats forward or backward. This helps prevent damage
belt systems.
