BEFOR E DRIVING YOUR

DRIVER DAILY CHECKLIST

Before Entering Vehicle

Be sure you know your vehicle and its equipment and how to use it
safely.
See that windows, mirrors, and lights are clean and unobstructed.

Check whether any tire is low or flat. (If any tire appears different
than normal, we recommend you check it with a tire pressure
gage.)
Check that all lights work.

Look for fluid leaks.

Be sure everything is properly stowed.

Check area behind vehicle if about to back up.
Before D riving Off
Lock all doors.

Adjust seat.
Adjust inside and outside mirrors.

Fasten seat belts.

Check that warning lights work as key is turned to "Start."

Check all gages (including fuel).

Release parking brake (and see that "Brake" light turns off).

Applicable Safety Standards
This vehicle was originally designed, manufactured and sold by
General Motors Corporation as a bus, multipurpose passenger ve­
hicle (MPV) or truck. General Motors Corporation has certified
that as a bus, MPV or truck this vehicle conforms to all applicable
Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS).
This vehicle was not originally intended for use as a school bus
unless sold as an incomplete vehicle equipped with School Bus
Application Option RPO B3D. Therefore, without this school bus
option, this vehicle need not and does not conform to those
FMVSS requirements specifically intended orily for school buses.
However, this does not prevent subsequent alteration of this vehi­

cle from
bus, MPV or truck into a school bus. In such a situation,
the vehicle alterer should
cle. This label should indicate the name of the vehicle alterer; the
month and year of alteration; that, as altered, the vehicle conforms
to all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; and the
new type classification of the vehicle; i.e., "school bus."
