1.
Release the latch handle at the outboard side of the seat back
and fold the back of the seat to the horizontal lock position.
(See illustration).
2.
Grasp the release handle at the rear of the seat as shown and
pull upward. After the seat is raised make sure it is latched
in place by exerting pressure rearward. (See illustration).
3.
To return seat to passenger position release the
support assembly as shown and lower the seat. Release the
latch handle at the outward side of the seatback and raise the
seatback into position.
The entire seat assembly may be removed if desired. Remove the
attaching bolts as shown. Replace the bolts in the anchor nuts to seal
the opening from dirt and/or foreign matter.
NOTICE:
The lug nut wrench may be used to remove these bolts.
CAUTION:
When unfolding the rear Blazer seat for use,
to see that the se . at is firmly latched to the floor. To do this, try to lift
the seat by pulling on the
on tha release handle.) Failure to properly latch the rear seat to the floor
could increase the chance and/or the severity of injury in an accident.
Keep seat belt webbing and hardware clear of seat parts when you tilt
folding seats forward or backward. This helps prevent damage to these
belt systems.
