Ma nua l Window Control
Tum manual window control clockwise to raise right windows and
counterclockwise to raise left windows. Reverse direction to lower
window.
Ta ilgate and Window
The tailgate window must be lowered all the way before the tailgate
can be opened.
NOTICE:
Refer to Page 2-1 for precautions to be observed if tailgate
or window is to remain open while vehicle is moving.
Manua lly Operated Rear Window
Pull out the window regulator handle at the end indicated by the
arrows. Unlock the tailgate using the oval-head key. To lower window,
tum the handle counterclockwise until desired window position is
reached, then rotate handle clockwise to a horizontal position and snap
into place.
Raise the window by pulling out the window regulator handle at the
end indicated by the arrows and turning the handle clockwise. When
the desired window height is reached, rotate handle counterclockwise
and snap into ptace.
To open the tailgate, lower the window all the way down (as described
above), lift the release handle located on the inside just below the
window and pull the tailgate open.
To close the tailgate lift into position and close firmly.
Electrica lly Operated Wi ndow
Operate the electric tailgate window from inside by using the dash
panel switch. This switch will operate only when the ignition switch
is in the ON position. Use the oval-head key to operate the window
from outside. Open the tailgate by rolling the window fully down and
lifting the release handle inside the tailgate.
NOTICE:
If the internal power window control fails to operate the
tailgate window, it is probable the window will still be operable by
means of the exterior key switch at the rear of the vehicle.
