Shift lever positions as shown on the indicator plate on the floor are:
CONVENTIONAL (PART TIME)
NOTICE:
To properly break-in front wheel drive axle components on
conventional four wheel drive models. drive the vehicle the initial 200
miles (320 km) in rear wheel drive (2H) position. If equippe� with free
wheeling hubs the hub should be engaged (in
this initial 200 miles (320 km) and thereafter, monthly for a minimum
of 1 0 miles to ensure proper lubrication.
