HARDTOP
Reasonable precaution in removing and installing the hardtop from
utility vehicles will prevent occurrence of excessive distortion and
possible damage.
BOLT 6
BOLT S
To remove the top assembly:
1 .
Remove cover plate from top just behind driver's seat.
Disconnect the electrical harness.
2. Lower the tailgate window and lower the tailgate.
3.
Remove six top-to-roof mounting bolts.
4. Remove ten top-to-side panel mounting bolts (five on each
side).

With assistance, lift the top and move rearward for removal.
NOTICE: The top should be removed carefully to prevent flexing of the
sides and possible damage.
To reinsta ll the top assembly:
NOTICE: To prevent possible damage to the top and to ensure proper
weatherstrip sealing the following precedure must be followed.
In s tall bolts No.6 on both sides and tighten.

2. Install bolts No. 1 and No.2 on both sides and tighten.
3. Loosen bolts No. 6 on both sides.
Install and tighten bolts No.3, No.4, and No.5 on both sides.

Re-tighten bolts No.6 on both sides.
6. Install and tighten remaining bolts to cab.
7.
Final bolt torque specification is 15 ft. lbs.
