JAC K LOCATION
No jack is supplied with P20 or 30 vehicles.

Jacking I nstructions
•
Park on level surface and set parking brake firmly.
•
Set automatic transmission in "Park" (manual transmission in
reverse) and transfer case in gear or lock position.
•
Activate hazard warning flasher.
•
Block front and back of wheel diagonally opposite jack
position.
•
Loosen, but do not remove, wheel nuts. (Rotate wrench
counterclockwise.)
NOTICE: Capped chrome nuts can be damaged if wheel nut wrench
in not fully seated on wheel nuts.
•
Locate jack beneath vehicle as shown. (Base must sit flat.)
•
Turn jack handle clockwise to raise vehicle so tire just clears
surface. (Always operate jack with a slow smooth motion.)
•
Replace wheel and slightly tighten wheel nuts. (Wheel must be
seated on hub. )
•
Tum jack handle counterclockwise to lower vehicle then fully
tighten wheel nuts in a criss-cross sequence. Wheel nut torque
should be set to s
