Ful l Time Four Wheel Drive (Automatic

Transmission Only)

The transfer case for full time four-wheel drive has an interaxle
differential assembly so the vehicle can be driven in four-wheel drive
even on dry hard surfaced roads.
No provision is made for two-wheel drive at any time and the vehicle
is not equipped with free-wheel axle hubs.
Shifts between
and L LOC May be
made at any speed.
Shifts between H
and H ,ocmay be
mode at any speed.
NOTICE:
When the selector is in
is "locked out." These positions are for use only during low traction
conditions (mud, snow, or sand) where the vehicle could get stuck.
Continued use on dry surfaces may cause excessive tire wear and
unnecessary loads on the drive train.
