Insert the buffer into the rear end of the weatherstrip by threading a stiff wire down the centre of the seal,
via an entry hole through the rear face of the seal approximately 25 mm below the latch striker pin.
Attach the buffer to the wire, and draw the buffer through the seal until centralised about the latch striker
pin. Remove the wire, and seal the hole in the weatherstrip.

A 377 mm length of small 'D' section
hollow rubber weir is stuck to the front shut
face of the door, 15 mm from the outer edge
of this surface. Double sided tape is used af-
ter the surfaces have been degreased and
primed with PP Primer 3842.
