Call Coverage Groups

Description
Call coverage is designed for office workers who almost always want their
unanswered calls to be routed to the same secretary or secretaries.
If an extension in a Call Coverage Group is unable to receive a call, the call is
automatically routed to a designated phone within the group (the "covering"
p h o n e ) .
Up to two extensions can be designated as covering phones.
For example, if an outside call on line 1 is sent to extension 135, but
extension 135 is busy or does not answer, the call will ring at the covering
phone and "IRK #Ol> 135" will appear on the covering phone's display.
If two extensions are designated as covering phones and one of them is in
DND, the second will receive the call.
Call coverage assignments are controlled through system programming,
rather than from individual extensions.

You cannot break in on three-party conference calls.
In CPC-A and CPC-B Versions 2.0 or lower, an Attendant Phone can break
into any call, independent of system programming.
In CPC-A and CPC-B Versions prior to 3.1, overridden extensions display
override
3.1, "Overridden" does not appear on the display of an extension that has
been broken into.
