3-8-3. Return Frequency Adjustment

Preparation
1. Set S601 and S605 for adjustment on the DTX-1 board
in HDCU-950 as follows. (Refer to Section 3-6-2.)
S601: VBS
S605: SD
2. . Connect the signal generator to the RET 1 IN
connector on HDCU-950, and input the MULTI
BURST signal.
. Replace the TRIAX cable between HDFX100 and
HDC1550 with the 300 m cable.
. Set S1 on the DM-141 board in HDFX100 to "0".
Adjustment procedure
3. Measuring equipment:
Oscilloscope
Input mode: DC
Test point:
TP202 (GND: E4)/MX-109 board
Adjusting point: 1LV101/MX-109 board
Specification:
A = minimum
4. . Replace the TRIAX cable between HDFX100 and
HDC1550 with the 50 m cable.
. Set S1 on the DM-141 board in HDFX100 to "2".
HDC1000/V1(E)
5. Measuring equipment:
Test point:
Adjusting point: 1LV101/MX-109 board
Specification:
6. . Return the TRIAX cable to the original 100 m cable.
. Re-set S1 on the DM-141 board in HDFX100 to
"F".
7. Set S601 and S605 on the DTX-1 board in HDCU-950
as follows. (Refer to Section 3-6-2.)
S601: SDI
S605: HD
8. Disconnect the signal generator from the RET 1 IN
connector on HDCU-950.
