Audio Streaming

Streamer can stream audio signals from radio, PC, MP3
players or other devices.
Audio sources using Bluetooth can be paired to Streamer
to stream music etc. wirelessly. Other audio sources can be
connected by means of the Audio Cable. Communication
from Streamer to the Vigo Connect hearing instruments will
always be wireless.
Wireless Audio Input
Music from a stereo Bluetooth device is connected to
Streamer when:
– the two devices are paired
– the device is within Bluetooth range (10 meters)
When the music player (or other stereo audio source) is
turned on, streaming is automatically started via Streamer
and played in the hearing instruments.
The music cannot be started from Streamer's Audio button.

Stop wireless audio streaming
The audio streaming is ended by pressing Streamer's Audio
button. The hearing instruments will return to the General
program (P1).
If wireless audio streaming is again wanted, it must be
initiated from the music player by stopping and starting
the music with a short break in between.
Wired Audio Input
When the audio cable connects from an audio player to
Streamer, Streamer will start streaming sound after the Audio
button is pressed.
Stop audio streaming
When the jack is removed or the Audio button is used to end
the audio transmission, the hearing instruments will return
to the General program (P1).
Accepting phone calls during audio streaming
(wired or wireless)
If a phone call is accepted while the audio signal is activated,
the phone call will receive priority.
When the phone call is over Streamer will return to audio
streaming.
