Choosing the correct size of Domes

The dome should sit comfortably in the ear canal and sup-
port and hold the speaker. Use an otoscope to inspect the
client's ear canal to determine dome size.

If the dome is too small, the speaker will not be securely
positioned in the ear canal and it may also itch or tickle in
the ear canal. If the dome is too big, it will be difficult to get
deep enough into the ear canal or collapse in the ear canal
and be uncomfortable to wear.

Changing the Dome

Take off the old dome using your finger nails. Push the new
dome onto the speaker. Give it a push to secure it safely.
