Custom Molds
These molds are a RITE Mold produced from a traditional,
deep impression and is a good choice in cases with retention
problems.
The Canal Mold can be ordered as e.g. a skeleton canal
or with a canal lock.

Long Vents

Canals use tube-shaped vents just like RITE Molds.
However, the vent is a little longer. Still, the Canal's vent
effect is larger than its actual diameter. Genie prescribes the
vent size (from X Large to No Vent) when RITE Mold is select-
ed. To reflect the actual diameter select the vent size
for long vents, e.g. Large (long).

Attaching the RITE Mold

When fitting Vigo Pro Connect RITE with RITE Molds follow the
instructions below:
Find the correct speaker unit length and attach it to the
instrument (see Selecting Speaker Unit Length).
1. Carefully insert the speaker into the RITE Mold and
push until you hear/feel a click.
2. When inserting the speaker into a RITE Mold, use the mold

tool to snap the receiver more deeply into the mold,

3. The mold can rotate axially to ensure maximum comfort.

Before placing the mold in the ear, turn the mold until the
up indicator points upwards.
