Replacing the CMOS battery

Tools you need to complete this task:
To replace the CMOS battery:

Complete the steps in

Open the mini PCI compartment by following the instructions in
802.11 Mini PCI card" on page
remove it.

Locate the old battery on the system board.

Insert the small flat-blade screwdriver or non-marring tool under the old battery and
gently pry it up until it pops out of the socket.

Make sure the positive (+) side of the new battery is facing up, then press the battery
into the socket until it snaps into place.

Reassemble the convertible notebook.
