Remove the screw on the top of the convertible notebook.

Gently lift the hinge off the touchpad cable. The cable is now free.

Lift the palm rest assembly up and away from the convertible notebook.

Place the new palm rest assembly onto the convertible notebook.

Replace the top palm rest screw.
