Carefully remove the system board.

Turn the system board over so the bottom is facing up, then remove the screws that
secure the modem to the convertible notebook.

Insert the small flat-blade screwdriver or non-marring tool under the modem and
gently pry it up about ¼ inch.

The modem cable is attached to the bottom of the notebook.
