The mpls ldp router-id command specifies the IP address of an
interface as the router identifier. Note that the interface whose IP
address serves as the router identifier must be in the UP state.
If the optional parameter force is not specified, the router iden-
tifier specified by the mpls ldp router-id command will not take
effect until the next router identifier election, and the router iden-
tifier takes place in the following cases:
1. LDP restarts.
2. The interface whose IP address serves as the current router ID
is shut down.
3. The interface whose IP address is specified as the current
router ID is not configured with any address.
If the optional parameter force is specified, the effect of the m
pls ldp router-id command depends on the current state of the
specified interface.
1. If the specified interface is in the UP state and its address is not
the current router identifier, the router will change the router
identifier to the specified value, interrupt all the current ses-
sions, release labels learned from the sessions, and terminate
the MPLS forwarding related with the bounding of these labels.
2. If the specified interface is in the DOWN state, the router will
change the router identifier to the specified value once the in-
terface is in the UP state, interrupt all the current sessions,
release labels learned from the sessions, and terminate the
MPLS forwarding related with the bounding of these labels.
This example describes how to specify the IP address of the inter-
face fei_1/1 as the router identifier.

Ue this command to adopt a new keepalive mechanism of LDP
sessions. Once a hello packet is received, reset the keepalive time
of the session this hello packet maintains.

By default, ZXROS updates the keepalive timer of sessions when-
ever it receives each LDP TCP packet. After the configuration of
this command, the timer will be reset whenever each LDP PDU
packet (including TCP and UDP packets) is received.
This example describes how to enable the new keepalive mecha-
nism of LDP sessions.
