12. Install the printhead in the printer carriage as follows: Press down on the latch lever to open the
printhead carrier. Position the printbead
in
the carrier, then raise the latch lever to lock it in
position.

Be sure to remove the printbead cartridge before shipping the unit. It is possible for the ink to
leak out of the cartridge while in transit, especially in an unpressurized airaaft cargo compart-
ment. A leak may result in damage to the computer.
