Useful features for travel

• For [Setup] menu setting procedures (→51)
If you set your travel schedule and take pictures, the day of your trip on which they were
taken will be registered.
Recording modes:
Recording only. (Cannot be set.)
Select [Travel Date] in the [Setup] menu
Use the respective cursor buttons to select [Travel Setup] and
press [MENU/SET]
Use the respective cursor buttons to select [SET] and press
[MENU/SET]
Use the respective cursor buttons to select the departure date
and press [MENU/SET]
Use the respective cursor buttons to select the return date
and press [MENU/SET]
To register [Location]
Once the [Travel Setup] is set, you can set the location.
Select [Location] in step
Use the respective cursor buttons to select [SET] and press [MENU/SET]
Enter your location (Entering text →94)
The travel date is calculated from the set departure date and the date set on the
camera's clock. When destination is set in [World Time], the days elapsed are
calculated based on local destination time.
When [Travel Setup] is set to [OFF], the number of days elapsed is not registered. It is
not displayed even if [Travel Setup] is set to [SET] after registering.
If settings are made before departure date, the number of days to departure are not
registered.
The [Location] is recorded separately from the location name information which is
registered on the pictures by the GPS function.
To print [Location] or the number of days that have passed, use [Text Stamp].
[Travel Date] cannot be set for AVCHD motion pictures recorded when [Rec Quality] is
set to [PSH], [FSH] or [SH].
