2.2.5 CD/DVD-ROM Drive
Disassembly
1. Carefully put the notebook upside down. And remove the battery pack. (Refer to section 2.2.1 disassembly)
2. Loosen the one screw that secure the CD/DVD-ROM drive. (Figure 2-12)
3. Put the notebook back to the upright position. Then insert a small rod, such as a straightened paper clip, into the
drive's manual eject hole and push firmly to release the tray ( ). Pull the tray out until fully extended ( ), then
carefully pull harder to remove the CD/DVD-ROM drive. (Figure 2-12)
Reassembly
1. To replace the CD/DVD-ROM drive, slide and push it all the way into the compartment to plug.
2. Secure the CD/DVD-ROM drive with one screw.
3. Replace the battery pack. (Refer to section 2.2.1 reassembly)
