VIDEO section of IR Controller
For video input, select one of the five inputs; SDI, CPST (Composite), CPNT (Y,B-Y, R-Y or YUV
Component), Y/C (two wires component) or CPST 2 (second composite input) as the video overlay
source and/or as genlock input.
Special effects on the output video such as CUT, FADE, FREEZE, KEY, MIX and SIZE can be
controlled directly with the buttons. It also controls the percent mixed in the MIX mode.
Press CUT to switch between video and graphics as output.
Press FADE to fade between video and graphics.
Fade rate is set by software only (Magni Premier or command control codes).
Freeze On, press FREEZE then press ON.
Freeze Off, press FREEZE then press OFF.
Key On, press KEY and then press ON.
Key Off, press KEY and the press OFF.
Percent Mix (graphics/video), press MIX then xxx (%) from the number buttons in the central
block, then ENTER. For example, 10% graphics to be mixed with 90% video, press MIX
10, ENTER.

Video Squeeze and Positioning

To reduce or squeeze the picture size, press OFF/VID to select the input video sizing and
positioning function. Press SIZE, then x from the number button in the central block and Enter
will recall the pre-programmed video reduction size.
STEPS: OFF, SIZE, X(1-9), then ENTER
The nine factory preprogrammed Video squeeze sizes and their respective positions are
illustrated in Fig.6-3. (all refer to linear reduction in horizontal and vertical axis, while
maintaining a 4:3 aspect ratio) are:

Video size adjustment with the IR controller. Further size adjustment can be done by press
SIZE while in the video sizing and positioning mode (OFF/VID), then press Up, Down, Right
or left Arrow repeatedly to change the size, then press ENTER to accept the new video size.
Press CLEAR for the controller to move to other functions such as Video positioning.
Video positioning with the IR controller. After the video size has been adjusted or selected,
positioning the video window by pressing Up, Down, Left or Right Arrows repeatedly for the
desire position, then press ENTER Press CLEAR for IR controller for other functions.
