The following cable connectors can be viewed from the rear of the MCP-601.
1. Power entry connector and fuse holder (1 amp time delay/slow blow) with spare included.
2. RS-232 input for control (9 pin Dsub).
3. USB input for control
4. Magni FX-1 controller connector (8 pin female RJ45 jack).
5. SDI Input. (Serial Digital 601, internal 75 terminations).
6. SDI Key output for external or downstream keying with a SDI switcher.
7. Composite input, Y input for Y/C or Y input for Component video (internal 75
termination).
8. C input for Y/C or B-Y input for Component video (internal 75
9. R-Y input for Component video (internal 75 termination).
10. VGA graphics input with active loop through output. Plug and Play compatible.
11. REF IN/CPST 2, Reference input (analog output Subcarrier Phase referenced to REF IN
when selected) or as CPST 2, a second Composite input in Analog mode. The two
connectors form a high impedance video loop through that is not directional. In non-loop
through mode, one connector must be terminated in 75 ohms.
12. Fan air outlet.
13. SDI output.
14. Second SDI output in parallel with the other output (13).
15. Analog Key output for external or downstream keying with an analog switcher.
16. Composite output, Y output for Y/C or Y output for Component video.
17. C output for Y/C or B-Y output for Component video.
18. R-Y output for Component video.
19. VGA monitor output drive with active loop through from VGA input (10).
20. DVI Graphics input (internal 50 nominal termination). Plug and Play compatible.
NOTE:
1: You can connect one SDI input plus only one analog video format input at a time (Composite, S-
Video, or Component Y/R-Y/B-Y). Only one input can be selected at a time. Two SDI outputs and only
one analog video format output can be connected at a time. However, both SDI and analog outputs
are available simultaneously.
2: You can connect one DVI and one VGA input at the same time. Only one can be selected to be
scan-converted at a time.
