The Magni Premier program detects the VGA resolution automatically. If the VGA screen resolution is
not detected properly, manually pressing Autoset button on the IR Controller. (The VGA Desktop color
may need to be set to blue for Autoset on some VGA cards.) When the program is running on a different
display, the user can enter the graphics resolution of the VGA driving the MCP-601 by clicking on User
Screen Size and entering VGA resolution.
Video indicator light on (green) indicates the video input will pass to the output directly
Verify that the MIX indicator is on (green) and all other indicators are off.
If the EXTERNAL MIX/KEY indicator is on (red):
Go to the Key tab.
Click the External Key button (the indicator should go from red to gray).
The Mix slider mixes the VGA graphics and the incoming video source. The slider on the Graphics end
permits 100% graphics content as video output while the slider on the Video end permits 100% input
video as video output.
The CUT button toggles between the Mix and the video source.
The Mix or Video indicator is on (green) indicating the current toggle state.
The FADE button causes the output to transition slowly between Mix and video at a rate set by the Fade
Rate slider.
The KEY button will activate the key mode that has been selected from the Key tab.
