Recording a telephone conversation
You can record a telephone conversation. After recording,
the ä- button flashes, and you can hear the record-
ing like a message on the answering machine.

You must inform your caller when recording a tele-
phone conversation.

1 During a telephone call, press b. The recording begins.
2 Press b again to end the recording.
Forwarding a call
Forwarding a call
You can forward calls from the device to registered cordless
telephones. From the cordless telephone, you can forward
calls to the device or to other cordless telephones.
From device
to a cordless telephone
1 During a call, press {.
2 Dial the number of the cordless telephone using the nu-
meric keypad.
3 Hang up.
To all cordless telephones
1 During a call, press {.
2 Hang up.
From the cordless telephone
To the device
1 During a call, press ô Menu .
2 Using [ select CALL TRANSFER .
3 Confirm with OK.
4 Using [ select HANDSET 0 .
5 Confirm with OK.
6 Press ' to hang up.
To other cordless telephones
Existence of several devices is the prerequisite
Forwarding a call to Dect
This function is available only if you have registered
several cordless telephones with your device and the
telephones are within the range of the machine.
1 During a call, press ô Menu .
2 Using [ select CALL TRANSFER .
3 Confirm using OK.
4 Select the cordless telephone to which you would like
to transfer the call using [.
5 Confirm using OK.
6 Press ', to hang up.

Getting back the telephone call
You can get a transmitted telephone call back, before the
cordless telephone is picked up.
1 Press ô Menu .
2 Using [ select HANGING UP .
3 Confirm using OK.
Placing internal calls
From device

1 In starting mode, lift the handset.
2 Press {.
3 Dial the number of the cordless telephone using the nu-
meric keypad.
Calling all cordless telephones
1 In starting mode, lift the handset.
2 Press {.
Terminating intercom
You can also terminate an internal telephone call by
pressing { without hanging up. You can place an in-
ternal or external call.
From the cordless telephone

1 In the starting mode, press {.
2 Dial using [ HANDSET 0 .
3 Press ô Call .

This function is available only if you have registered
several cordless telephones with your device and the
telephones are within the range of the machine.

2 Using [ dial the cordless telephone you would like to
call.

Caller Line Identification Presen-
tation (CLIP)
Country- and Network-Specific
(country and network dependent)
CLIP Definition
The number of an incoming call appears on the display.
For this function to work, the caller line identification
(CLIP – Caller Line Identification Presentation) must be
activated for your telephone connection. Enquire with
your telephone company. Caller identification may be as-
sociated with a fee.
Setting the Country
If the caller line identification does not work even
though the function is activated for your telephone
connection, check if you have set the correct country
(also see Chapter "Settings", Page 37)
