Open the vertical transport in the lower compartment (see figure 173).

Remove all copy material clippings.

Close the vertical transport.

Removing paper underneath the plate
Remove roll 1 (upper compartment) or roll 3 (lower compartment).

Remove the plate underneath the roll holder by pulling it towards you (see

figure 174).

Remove any jammed paper.

Return the plate making sure that the notch is placed over the peg at the left and

right hand side of the paper compartment.
