ON THE ROAD

If a Problem Occurs On the Road
• If a warning light goes on, immediately stop the vehicle in
a safe place and take emergency measures.
• If your vehicle suffered a serious blow to the bottom, im-
mediately stop the vehicle in a safe place and check for fuel
leak or brake fluid spill and for damages to the car
underbody.
• If you have a sudden puncture or blowout on the road, keep
your composure, grip the steering wheel firmly, brake gen-
tly to reduce your speed and then stop in a safe place.
WARNING
If the front axle and tire were severely hit on the road and you no-
tice steering problems (steering wheel shakes up and down / right
and left / in circular motion), immediately visit to the nearest
Ssangyong Dealer or Ssangyong Authorized Service Operation to
check and repair steering and suspension parts.
Avoiding Unnecessary Movements While Driving
• While driving, do not turn off the ignition key under no
circumstances. Brakes and power steering will not work.

Turning The Engine Off When Taking A Nap
You might cause an accident by unconsciously shifting the
transaxle or stepping on the accelerator pedal, so turn the
engine off.
CAUTION
Repeated application of the accelerator pedal overheats the engine
