User's Choice [4/6]

1 Press the [UTILITY] key on the control panel.
The display will change.
2 On the touch screen, press [USER'S CHOICE].
The display will change.
3 Select the index key [4/6].
Density Priority
Specify the image density settings to be enabled by default when the
copier is switched on or reset.
§
Select between [AUTO] for automatic exposure and [MANUAL] for
manual exposure mode.
The default setting is [AUTO].
§ If you have selected the [MANUAL] image density setting, select
image density optimisation for [TEXT], [TEXT/PHOTO] or [PHOTO].
The default setting is [TEXT].
Default Level (Copy)
Use the default level to specify whether the copies should be made
generally lighter or darker. Specify the value to be enabled when the
copier is switched on or reset.
§ For automatic exposure, under "Auto Exposure" select between
[LIGHTER], [NORMAL] or [DARKER].
The default setting is [NORMAL].
§
For manual exposure, under "Man.Exposure" select the desired print
exposure level from [1] to [9].
The default setting is [5].
