Opening and Closing the Copier Cabinet

Opening the Copier Cabinet

➜ Reach into the recess and pull the
latch. Lift open the upper part of the
copier cabinet until it stops.

Closing the Copier Cabinet

➜ A symbol of a hand is drawn on the
original cover. Press down on the
illustration of the hand until you hear
the copier cabinet latch closed.
CAUTION
Incorrect handling can cause damage to the copier.
Pushing on the wrong area of the original cover to close the copier cabinet
can damage the original glass.
➜ Press only on the illustration of the hand to close the copier cabinet.
