Automatic Document Feeder

To save time, originals can be processed using the Automatic Document
Feeder. It allows you to load several originals simultaneously, which are
then fed automatically one at a time.
Which originals can be used with the feeder?
• Single sheets of smooth standard paper
• Not stapled or punched
• Sizes A4 L to A5 L (50 to 110 g/m
Slide the Document Guide Plate to

suit the size of the originals.
Are you copying large originals?

➜ Flip up the Document Feed Tray
Extender.
2 Load up to 50 originals face-up in
the Document Feed Tray.
Ensure that the stack of originals

does not exceed
the maximum fill height
(see Ä mark on the
Document Feed Tray)
4 Push the originals tight
against the feed chamber of the
Document Feed Tray.
Start the copy cycle.

The originals are fed in automatically
one after the other.
? Is the Document Feeder feeding the
originals incorrectly?
