6.4 If a Malfunction Code Appears on the Display
Panel . . .
If an internal copier malfunction occurs, a malfunction code appears on
the display panel as "CXXXX".
For example:
Malfunction Code C0045
If a malfunction code is displayed, proceed as follows.
1 Switch the copier off. Wait a
moment and then switch the copier
back on.
The malfunction code is no longer
displayed. A malfunction is no
longer present.
Or
The malfunction code is displayed
again. A malfunction is still present.
2 Write down the malfunction code.
3 Turn the copier off.
4 Remove the power plug from the outlet.
5 Consult your Technical Representative and inform him or her of the
malfunction code.
