Adjusting the riding sag

Remove shock absorber.

After removing the shock absorber, clean it thoroughly.
Choose and mount a suitable spring.
Guideline
(EXC‑F, EXC‑F SIX DAYS, XCF-W)
Spring rate
Weight of rider: 65... 75 kg (143... 165 lb.)
Weight of rider: 75... 85 kg (165... 187 lb.)
Weight of rider: 85... 95 kg (187... 209 lb.)

Weight of rider: 65... 75 kg (143... 165 lb.)
Weight of rider: 75... 85 kg (165... 187 lb.)

The spring rate is shown on the outside of the spring.
Smaller weight differences can be compensated by changing the spring preload.
Install the shock absorber.
Check the static sag of the shock absorber. (
Check the riding sag of the shock absorber. (
Adjust the rebound damping of the shock absorber. (
Loosen screw
Turn adjusting ring
Combination wrench (50329080000)
Hook wrench (T106S)
Measure the overall spring length when not under tension.
Tighten the spring by turning adjusting ring

Install the shock absorber.
