Uninstalling the software

UNINSTALLING FinePixViewer AND USB
MASS STORAGE DRIVER
Only perform this operation when you no longer require the installed software. Turn the printer power off.

Quit all the currently running applications. Take particular care to shut down Exif
Launcher if it is running (→P. 78 I I want to quit Exif Launcher).

Close all the files.

Open the "My Computer" window and double-click "Add/Remove
Programs" in the Control Panel.

The "Add/Remove Programs Properties" window appears. Select the software to be
uninstalled (FinePixViewer or the driver) and then click the [Add/Remove] button.

• Confirm that the printer power is off.

When the confirmation message appears, click
the [OK] button. Check your selection carefully
since the process cannot be cancelled once you
click the [OK] button.

Automatic uninstallation begins.
When uninstallation ends, click the [OK] button.

Load the Printpix CD-ROM.
When the installation setup window appears,
click the [Cancel installation] button. Double-click
the "My Computer" icon, right-click the "CD-
ROM" icon and select "Open".

Double-click "Unin_cx.exe" in the CD-ROM
"CX400" folder.
The message shown at the right appears. Click
the [OK] button. Uninstallation begins.

When uninstallation is completed, the dialog box shown below appears.
