Hold the upper guide plate down and cut the tape at the knife section by quickly

pulling the strip up so that the tape is cut by the upper knife (see figure 159).

Close the side door of the reinforcement unit.

Clear the waste box

If a reinforcement unit is installed, the protective sheet from the reinforcement
tape is stored in a waste box.
You can clear the waste box while you print.

Pull the waste box to the left hand side and towards you to open the waste box
