Take the following steps to connect the scanner to the host:
1. Connect the interface cable supplied with the host to the connector on the back of the
scanner.

2. Make sure that the cable connectors are secure at both ends.
Once you have completed all of the tasks in Section 4, Installation, move on to Section 5,
Operation.
