  • Page 14: Front Of The Scanner

Copiscan 8000 Plus Series Operator Manual As documents travel through the transport, they are guided by seven sets of transport rollers. Documents are delivered to the stacking surface on the exit tray, while the scanner maintains the original document feed sequence. Both the feeding and retrieval of documents are executed from the front of the scanner.

Copiscan 8000 Plus Series Operator Manual protrudes at a slight angle from the front of the scanner. When the scanner receives a scan command, the scanner takes one document at time from the stack into its transport system. The feeder has two adjustable guides that keep the documents in an orderly stack, thereby preventing them from entering the scanner at an angle, which could cause scanner jams or multifeeds.
