"BALANCE L09" – "BALANCE R09" is dis-
played as the left/right speaker balance moves
from left to right.
Adjusting bass and treble
Use this function to adjust the bass and tre-
ble. The ability to select the frequency as well
as the level gives you good control over the
tonal balance of the audio.
• If EQ-EX function has been selected and
only when EQ-EX is turned on and
"CUSTM" is selected as the equaliser
curve, you can adjust bass and treble set-
tings.
• If SFEQ has been set to "FRT1", bass ad-
justment affects only the rear output: front
output cannot be adjusted.
• If SFEQ has been set to "FRT1" or "FRT2",
treble adjustment affects only the front out-
put: rear output cannot be adjusted.
Using bass adjustment
You can adjust the frequency and the bass lev-
el.

Using loudness adjustment
Loudness compensates for deficiencies in the
low- and high-sound ranges at low volume.
