Problems
Power does not turn
on.
No image appears.
The picture is fuzzy.
The color is pale or
grayish.
The remote control
does not respond.
The menu screen
does not appear.

z Is the power plug firmly inserted into the outlet?
z Is the <MAIN POWER> switch turned <OFF>?
z Is the wall outlet supplying electricity?
z Have the circuit breakers tripped?
z Is the temperature indicator <TEMP> or the lamp indicator
<LAMP1>/<LAMP2> lit or flashing?
z Is the lamp unit cover securely installed?
z Are connections to external devices correctly performed?
z Is the input selection setting correct?
z Is the [BRIGHTNESS] adjustment setting at a minimum?
z Is the external device that is connected to the projector working
properly?
z Is the shutter function in use?
z If the power indicator <ON (G)/STANDBY (R)> is flashing in red, consult
your dealer.
z Is the lens focus set correctly?
z Is the projection distance appropriate?
z Is the lens dirty?
z Is the projector installed perpendicular to the screen?
z Is the [COLOR] or [TINT] adjusted correctly?
z Is the external device connected to the projector adjusted correctly?
z Is the RGB cable damaged?
z Are the batteries depleted?
z Is the polarity of the batteries set correctly?
z Are there any obstructions between the remote control and the
projector's remote control signal receiver?
z Is the remote control being used beyond its effective operation range?
z Are other forms of light, such as fluorescent light, affecting the
projection?
z Is the [REMOTE CONTROL] setting in [CONTROL DEVICE SETUP] set
to [DISABLE]?
z Is the <REMOTE 2 IN> terminal used for contact control?
z Is the ID number setting operation correct?
z Is the on-screen display function turned off (hidden)?
