subscribe to a Distinctive Ring service, select Standard to have
the Colour MFP signal voice calls with your normal ringing
pattern, and faxes with a special ringing pattern. In the case of a
fax, the Colour MFP will automatically answer and receive the
fax after the number of rings selected in the Number of Rings
to answer box. Note that the Colour MFP's reception mode
must be set to FAX for Distinctive Ring to operate correctly.

Dial Mode

Select Tone if you are on a touch-tone line or Pulse if you are
on a pulse dial (rotary) line.
Note: For all units installed in New Zealand, select "1" for tone
dialling. The pulse setting "2" will not operate correctly and must
not be used.

Fax Send tab

Fine Resolution Priority

Select this checkbox if you want to change the default resolution
setting for sending a fax from Standard to Fine.
