Fax/Image E-mail application
You may also send existing image files directly from the Viewer
application as a fax or e-mail message. For additional information,
access the Viewer chapter of this manual or the Viewer application help
files.
The status of your Fax/Image E-mail operation may be monitored from
the Job Progress field located on the Fax/Image E-mail screen.

Sending documents to both E-mail and Fax recipients

You may combine e-mail addresses and fax numbers in the To: or CC:
fields of the Fax/Image E-mail application in order to send a document
to both fax and e-mail recipients concurrently. You may also use the To:
and CC: buttons to select recipient names from your Address Book.
The names from your Address Book can have any combination of
Default Send Addresses.

Default destinations for E-mail Messages and Faxes

Each person in your Colour Multifunction Interface Address Book can
have up to four locations for receiving e-mail messages and faxes. These
locations are: Home E-mail, Business E-mail, Home fax number, and
Business fax number.
From these four locations, you choose one as a Default Send Address for
each person in your Address Book. This location becomes the primary
destination for all messages sent to that person from the Fax/Image E-mail
application.
You can, however, temporarily over-ride the Default Send Address
established in your Address Book and choose an alternate message
destination for a single operation.

Changing the Default Send Address

If you need to send an e-mail message or a fax to a destination other
than the Default Send Address, you can change the message destina-
tion directly from the Fax/Image E-mail application.
Using the To: button, address the message by selecting the recipient
