Importing Databases To Your Address Book; Import Of Address Book Data - Sharp FO-2550 Operation Manual

In the File Name field, type the name you want to use for your new
Address Book.
In the Files of Type field, select Address Book Files (*.mdb) if it
is not already displayed.
Click the Open button, and a blank Address Book screen will be
displayed.
Opening a different Address Book
To open a different Address Book, select File from the menu bar
and choose the Open command. When the Open dialog box ap-
pears, navigate to the drive and directory where the Address Book
is stored. Follow the procedures outlined above to properly open
another Address Book.

Importing Databases to your Address Book

This feature enables you to automatically import earlier versions of
Alacrity Address Book fields into corresponding fields of the Sharp
Colour Multifunction Interface Address Book.

Import of Address Book Data

The following Address Book data fields from earlier versions of the
Multifunction Interface system import to corresponding fields in the
Colour Multifunction Interface Address Book:
Name - single field imports to field names Last Name, First
Name, Middle Initial fields, and attempts to parse information
from one field of data.
Company - single field contains company name and address.
Imports in its entirety to the corresponding Company field of the
Colour Multifunction Interface Address Book. No parsing of
company and address information is attempted.
Fax Number - single field contains Country Code, Area Code
and Fax Number. Imports in its entirety to the Business Fax
Number field of the Colour Multifunction Interface Address
