1. Enter the Disk Management menu, shown in Figure 59 by going to Main Menu > System
Configuration > Disk Management.
2. Check the Overwrite checkbox.
3. Click the Save button.
4. Click the Done button to exit out of Disk Management.

S.M.A.R.T

The S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitoring system for HDD
to detect and report on various indicators of reliability in the hopes of anticipation failures.
To viewing S.M.A.R.T. information:
1. Enter the S.M.A.R.T. Settings menu, shown in Figure 60 by going to Main Menu > System
Configuration > Disk Management.
2. Select the S.M.A.R.T. Settings tab.
3. Select a HDD to view its S.M.A.R.T. information list.

Managing Files

Searching for Recorded Files

Previously recorded files can be searched by criteria in the File Management menu.
To search for all recorded files:
1. Enter the File Management menu, shown in Figure 61 by going to Main Menu > File
Management> File search.
