    User Manual of DS-7200/7300/8100 Series DVR 2.1 Using the Wizard for Basic Configuration The Setup Wizard can walk you through some important settings of the device. By default, the Setup Wizard starts once the device has loaded. Operating the Setup Wizard: Select the system resolution from the drop-down menu.

By default, the password is 12345. To change the admin password, check the New Admin Password checkbox. Enter the new password and confirm the password in the given fields.

Before you can get a live view or record of the video, you should add the network cameras to the connection list of the device.

The device automatically enters Live View mode when powered on. It is also at the very top of the menu hierarchy, thus pressing the ESC many times (depending on which menu you’re on) brings you to the Live View mode.

Before you start: 1. Make sure that the HDD has already been installed. If not, please install a HDD and initialize it.

To enable Motion triggered recording, you must configure the motion detection settings as well. For detailed information, refer to Chapter 8.1 and Chapter 8.2.
