    User Manual of DS-7200/7300/8100-SH Series DVR 2.1 Using the Wizard for Basic Configuration The Setup Wizard can walk you through some important settings of the device. By default, the Setup Wizard starts once the device has loaded. Operating the Setup Wizard: Select the system resolution from the drop-down menu.

Before you can get a live view or record of the video, you should add the network cameras to the connection list of the device.

The device automatically enters Live View mode when powered on. It is also at the very top of the menu hierarchy, thus pressing the ESC many times (depending on which menu you’re on) brings you to the Live View mode.

In the live view mode, once a motion detection event takes place, the device can analyze it and perform some response actions to handle it. Enabling motion detection function can trigger certain channels to start recording, or trigger full screen monitoring, audio warning, notify the surveillance center and so on.
