HDD Setting

Various hard disk operations are available, such as those for erasing data
from the hard disk and for checking the amount of free space on the hard
disk. Settings can be specified for the following.

Specifying Utility mode parameters
Description
The amount of hard disk space that is used and that remains can
be checked.
Select whether mode 1 or mode 2 is used as the method for over-
writing data on the hard disk. When the security kit is installed, se-
lect whether encryption or overwriting is given priority.
All data can be overwritten.
Specify the hard disk locking password
Specify the setting for encrypting the data on the hard disk.
A setting is required only when the optional security kit is installed.
Format the hard disk.
